I started my daughter's locks by braiding. My oldest daughter wanted extentions on her locks. I added hair to the ends of her braids. My oldest daughter wanted to wear her hair naturally, but wasn't comfortable with the length of her hair. She is at that age... We compromised by adding the hair. Eventually the extentions will be cut off as her natural hair grows! My youngest is very happy with her hair. I'm glad we don't use heat on our hair anymore to straigten it! Low maintanence for all of our hair! I retighten both of their hair by using the NappyLocks tool. Its great bonding time with them!

Your girls locks look cute. Good job. I'm glad that you are teaching your girls to appreciate the beautiful hair that God has given them.
I am truly sorry that you went through that terrible accident but I know that God sent his angels to protect you.
Since I know that your girls are your world I also encourage you to always remind your girls to live every day as if it was their last day on earth and to be a shining light those people around them who may be in the dark. God's blessings to you. Looking forward to more of your posts.
First, I want to also say God is good all of the time. The pics of your accident looked really scary.
You did a wonderful job on your daughter's hair. My daughter is twelve and has the length of your oldest daughter's hair with the extensions. However, she doesn't want to lose her length but wants to go natural. We just moved to Cali and I haven't found anyone I feel I can trust with transitioning her. Now that you've braided your youngest daughter's hair, how do you maintain it? Also, did she have a relaxer in her hair? Please advise, thanks.
